Boxing News: Ryan Garcia Blasts Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn After ‘Ring of Fire’ Event
Beef, feud, and altercations seem to follow Ryan Garcia wherever he goes! In the wake of the undisputed clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, Garcia’s latest target is none other than Anthony Joshua. What sparked this latest flare-up? As the heavyweight showdown unfolded in Saudi Arabia, Garcia found himself seated next to Cristiano Ronaldo and later met up with Joshua.
On the night of the fight, the Victorville native shared pictures with the duo on Instagram from Kingdom Arena, seemingly enjoying the event. However, during an X space conversation today, Garcia’s outlook on the Eddie Hearn-promoted boxer seems to have changed dramatically. Hearn himself became Garcia’s target as ‘King Ry’ spilled the beans from their meetup.
Ryan Garcia Calls Anthony Joshua Stupid
Reflecting on Usyk’s spectacular win, Garcia said, “What I would tell you is this, Eddie Hearn literally was hoping that Tyson Fury [would lose]. It was a close fight. Who cares who won? Usyk won. They are both my brothers in Christ, Usyk-Tyson Fury. Who cares who won?” It’s worth mentioning that a fight between Joshua and Fury has been an exciting prospect among fans, especially for English fans, but despite several attempts, the fight never happened.
Now that Usyk has emerged as the winner, defeating both Fury and Joshua, a fight could be possible. Garcia added, “Eddie Hearn hoped that Tyson Fury [would lose]. So, Anthony Joshua could have some type of redemption.” Turning to Joshua, Garcia seems to have gotten a distinct impression of the Englishman, as he said, “Anthony Joshua got his a** whooped by Usyk. …He [is] so stupid. I met him in person. Joshua is a fake individual.”
Praise for Cristiano Ronaldo
In contrast, Garcia was full of praise for Cristiano Ronaldo, next to whom he was seated during the event. “Cristiano Ronaldo is cool as f**k. I love Cristiano, but Anthony Joshua can suck a big one.” This isn’t the only time Garcia has bashed Hearn and his boxer.

‘The Flash’ Garcia Can’t Wait for Eddie Hearn to Cry
Why Garcia doesn’t have the right equation with Hearn is understandable, sort of. Hearn was Devin Haney’s promoter and supported Haney’s decision to appeal the loss against Garcia last month. However, was that enough to turn Garcia against Hearn’s boxer as well? Or is it just another attempt to make the headlines?
“I can’t wait for Eddie to cry when Anthony Joshua loses to Usyk and Fury ahahahaha… Peds my a**… It’s war bruh,” Garcia wrote on X earlier today. Meanwhile, Garcia’s B-Sample results are due on May 22, which will dictate his future in boxing.
Every day, Ryan Garcia manages to find someone or the other to beef with, regardless of whether they are close. One day he shares pictures with Joshua laughing and enjoying, then the next day he attacks Joshua online.
