Ryan Garcia Predicts Devin Haney’s Fate Against Gervonta Davis

Following his remarkable victory over Devin Haney in Brooklyn, Ryan Garcia has once again emerged as a prominent figure in the boxing world. His triumph caught the attention of Gervonta Davis, who had previously defeated Garcia in April of the previous year. Now, with Davis reaching out to Garcia via social media, speculation about potential matchups between the two fighters has intensified.

During a recent appearance on the PBD Podcast, Ryan Garcia offered his insights into a potential showdown between Devin Haney and Gervonta Davis. Drawing from his own experiences in the ring with both fighters, Garcia shared his perspective on how Haney could emerge victorious against Davis.

According to Garcia, Haney possesses the necessary attributes to defeat Davis, citing his superior reach and boxing acumen as key factors. “Haney beats Tank. Boxing is just a wild sport. Haney beats him out of just pure volume. Just knows how to use his reach good,” Garcia explained during the podcast.

Garcia told Patrick Bet-David, “Haney beats Tank. Boxing is just a wild sport. Haney beats him out of just pure volume. Just knows how to use his reach good.”

“Tank would try to hurt him, but, I don’t think Tank would get to Haney. If it happens, I have Haney,” he added calmly.

“I’m cooler than him, I know how to promote better,” he concluded.

“Well, Haney actually caught me. Gervonta, it wasn’t a hard fight. I was just weak.”

In Garcia’s estimation, Davis would struggle to overcome Haney’s tactical prowess, despite his aggressive fighting style. Garcia expressed confidence in Haney’s ability to outmaneuver Davis and secure a victory if the two were to face off in the ring.

Moreover, Garcia asserted that Davis holds no leverage over him, emphasizing his own popularity and promotional skills compared to Davis. “I’m cooler than him, I know how to promote better,” Garcia confidently stated.

“I would beat Gervonta Davis worse than I beat Devin Haney,” Garcia continued,“Devin Haney is a harder fight than Gervonta,” he added

“He would never fight me at 145. So, it doesn’t really matter. That’s why he was texting me all nice and tweet me all nice. ‘Oh Ryan, I’ll give you my real number now. Let’s go to the club. I hung out with P Diddy.’ He tried to go out with me,” said Ryan Garcia.

In addition to discussing Haney’s potential victory over Davis, Garcia also shed light on Davis’s post-fight behavior following Garcia’s win over Haney. Garcia revealed that Davis attempted to socialize with him after the fight, suggesting a friendly gesture. However, Garcia dismissed Davis’s actions as mere “clout-chasing,” indicating that Davis’s intentions were insincere.

Despite Garcia’s optimism about Haney’s chances against Davis, he also reflected on his own encounter with Davis in the ring. Garcia acknowledged the challenges he faced during their bout, particularly the weight stipulations imposed on the fight. However, Garcia remained steadfast in his belief that he would have defeated Davis convincingly under different circumstances.

As speculation continues to swirl about potential matchups in the boxing world, Garcia’s insights offer valuable perspective on the dynamics between top fighters like Haney and Davis.
