“Golden Boy Promotions Fallout: Mets Game Incident Sparks Twitter War!”

In a whirlwind of controversy, boxing stars Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney found themselves at the center of a storm during yesterday’s game between the New York Mets and the Pittsburgh Pirates. As anticipation mounted for their ceremonial first pitch, tensions reached a boiling point, culminating in a shocking revelation from none other than Oscar De La Hoya about the Mets’ owner.

Amidst bickering and heated exchanges between Garcia and Haney at the Empire State Building earlier in the day, Mets officials grew concerned about potential altercations during the ceremonial throw. Their fears materialized when the fighters arrived at Citi Field, prompting the abrupt cancellation of the first pitch, much to the dismay of fans and players alike.

De La Hoya stated, “Ryan [was] already in the VIP section, so I walked into the field—to the stadium… I came across the owner’s wife. We’re talking; she’s a big fan, and she speaks Spanish and everything. She’s excited to see Ryan and this and that and excited for them to throw out the first pitch.”

Bizarre scene tonight at Citi Field in New York, where Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia were scheduled to throw out the first pitch of Mets-Pirates. Mets officials pulled the plug on it after the fighters arrived, I’m told by sources w/direct knowledge, because they didn’t want to…

Oscar revealed, “They called it off, and I don’t think the owner knew that. So, I was kind of puzzled—what’s going on? I mean, Ryan was looking forward to it. He was practicing.”

“To say, at the end, ‘we can’t throw the pitch’ for whatever reason. There was no reason. They kicked us out for no reason. So, f**k the Mets; don’t ever go to a Mets game again.”

In a candid interview with Ariel Helwani, De La Hoya shed light on the behind-the-scenes chaos, revealing a startling revelation about the Mets’ owner. According to De La Hoya, the owner’s wife expressed excitement about Garcia and Haney’s involvement in the first pitch, unaware of the officials’ concerns that led to its cancellation.

“Then [they] offered for me to throw out the first pitch. I was like, no. I [had] to respect Ryan, and that’s his moment. I can’t do that to my fighter.” When Helwani brought up Garcia’s frustration with the incident, Oscar said, “He was pissed because he was looking forward to it. He’s 25 years old. He’s never done that before, and he was looking forward to it.”

As Garcia and De La Hoya were forced to leave the stadium, emotions ran high, with Garcia expressing his frustration on social media. In a passionate plea to fans, Garcia urged them to boycott Mets games, condemning the team’s actions as unjustified and unwarranted.

The aftermath of the incident saw Garcia launching a barrage of tweets directed at the Mets and the MLB, igniting a Twitter war that further escalated tensions. Despite the chaos, De La Hoya’s revelation added a new layer of intrigue to the unfolding drama, leaving fans and spectators eager for answers.

In the wake of the controversy, questions linger about the true motivations behind the Mets’ decision and the fallout for Garcia and Haney. With emotions running high and tempers flaring, the boxing world braces for the fallout from this explosive showdown at Citi Field.
