In boxing circles, the debate rages: Who is the Mexican’s greatest challenge? David Benavidez enters. He saw Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol, two titans of the light heavyweight division. Beterbiev is a strong man with a terrible record: 20 fights, 20 KOs. Unmatched strength, but is he the real test? Bivol, on the other hand, presents a problem. The record? Also very good, 22-0, 11KOs. Benavidez muses: Who is the hardest to work with? Power or justice? Can Benavidez crack Beterbiev’s code or overcome Bivol’s nerves? David Benavidez saw a potential weakness in Beterbiev’s form

During
an appearance on Cigar Talk, the interviewer got into the nature of the competition, asking David Benavidez, “Who do you think is the toughest competition for you between Bivol and Beterbiev?” Who is a tougher competition for you? Responding Benavidez wasted no time in clarifying his thoughts on the light heavyweight titan.

“Maybe
Beterbiev because he’s 15 with 0.15 KOs,” revealed Benavidez, highlighting Beterbiev’s unmatched KO record. The news comes as Benavidez prepares to face Oleksandr Gvozdyk, a strong fighter that Beterbiev previously beat.

He also explained about the character of Beterbiev, “I see that it is different, maybe it is easier to beat him because his feet are very flat, but he has a lot of transition to Bivol, Berna. Vaders knows to a type of fighter, “The thing about Bivol is that he’s a real fighter, he can hit you from here, he can move here and you can” hit him . , you know he’ll move with the whole ring.”
It
would be great to watch him fight either of these two fighters, but how would he fare against Canelo Alvarez? Is this fight possible? Canelo asks for the “Bulls**t” punch.

David Benavidez was close to a fight with Canelo Alvarez, but he has shifted his focus entirely to light heavyweight, ending the fight on what remains of a fight between the super-middleweights. Benavidez, frustrated by the length of negotiations and Alvarez’s huge financial demands, expressed frustration. “For Canelo, it’s crazy, “oh, he needs respect. “I’m not going to leave anybody because I’ve had a chance,” Benavidez said on the Fresh and Fit podcast.

He also hammered home: “This fight is not happening because he wants $150 million.” He says he’s scared. Benavidez made up his mind by saying, “I don’t think the Canelo fight is going to happen, so I have to move on.” These 175 pound guys are killers. Now my focus is 100% on them. “

Will
this move enhance Benavidez’s legacy, cementing him in the annals of boxing history alongside the legend of the sport? What do you think about Benavidez’s future at light heavyweight?
