“Wilder’s Words or Wins: Fans Question Former Champ’s Priorities Amidst Poetry Controversy!”

In a surprising turn of events, former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder finds himself at the center of controversy once again, but this time for an unexpected reason. Known for his thunderous punches and fierce determination inside the ring, Wilder has recently garnered attention for his venture into the world of poetry, a move that has left fans scratching their heads and calling for him to “wake da f**k up.”

He said, “If Inoue’s goal is to be a star in boxing, he has to come to the United States.”

“The home of the lightweight division is now here in Japan. If you want to see the game, come to Japan. If there is something better than what is available in the Japanese market in America, I would be happy to go. That’s all worth it here in Japan.”

“Shawn,

Shawn I know exactly where you’re coming from, the young man is def a rock star in Japan and he’s generating enormous revenue but outside of the diehards he’s relatively unknown in the U.S. where we actually live. I get it!! https://t.co/OIWTjEytcj

I know exactly where you’re coming from. The young man is definitely a rock star in Japan, and he’s generating enormous revenue. But outside of the diehards, he’s relatively unknown in the U.S., where we actually live.”

After suffering a defeat at the hands of Joseph Parker in December last year, Wilder seemed poised for redemption, with talks swirling about a potential matchup against Zhilei Zhang in Saudi Arabia on June 1st. However, instead of focusing on his training and preparation for the upcoming bout, Wilder took to Instagram to share a poem that has left many perplexed.

“In the realm of life, where shadows loom, We face the trials that make us strong,” Wilder penned in the opening lines of his poem, hinting at the challenges he has faced throughout his career. Yet, despite the poetic eloquence and introspective tone of his verses, fans were quick to express their disappointment, urging Wilder to prioritize his boxing career over literary pursuits.

“More boxing less quotes! Malik got you speaking well but fighting horrible! New trainer,” one fan remarked, highlighting the disparity between Wilder’s verbal prowess and his performance in the ring. Another fan referenced Wilder’s loss to Parker, advising him to “humble yourself” in light of recent setbacks.

However, amidst the criticism, there were also words of encouragement from fans who remain hopeful for Wilder’s resurgence. “Let’s go Champ! Get that win over Zhang,” one supporter exclaimed, rallying behind the former champion. Similarly, others echoed the sentiment, urging Wilder to channel his focus and determination towards securing victory in his upcoming fight.

Yet, it was a blunt and impassioned plea from one fan that encapsulated the sentiment of many. “Deontay you gotta wake da F**k Up. It’s WAR TIME,” they declared, calling on Wilder to shake off distractions and fully commit himself to the relentless pursuit of greatness inside the squared circle.

As Wilder grapples with the weight of expectations and the desire for redemption, the boxing world watches with bated breath, eager to see if the former champion can rise to the occasion and reclaim his rightful place among the heavyweight elite.
