It seems Floyd Mayweather Jr. is taking it easy on a lavish European vacation. Some time ago, the undefeated former champion shared snapshots and clips of him enjoying a card session with a bunch of friends aboard a train in France. The boxing legend, now active in the exhibition boxing circuit post-retirement, last dueled John Gotti III in a controversial event.

The world’s richest boxer enjoys his downtime at exotic locales. Usually, he prefers to jet set on one of his priced Gulfstreams to reach the destination. However, as his post conveyed, for a change, he decided to give some time off to his pilot crew. Thus, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and the gang headed to the ‘City of Love’ on one of the best-operated train systems in the world. From the looks of it, they appeared to have taken the world-famous Train à Grande Vitesse, or TGV.

In the post, Floyd Mayweather Jr. wrote, “I gave my pilots a couple of days off, and 15 of us hopped on a train to Paris to move around a little bit!” The first clip showed him sitting by the window seat with cards spread out in hand. A few bundles of bills decked the table. A friend, seated diagonally across the table, distributed the pieces. As the game progressed, they randomly picked the cards from the draw pile and arranged them alongside the one in hand.

The game carried on, though there appeared to be some sort of confusion in the second footage. His voice was barely audible amidst the loud noise of the train. However, one of his friends could be heard saying, “You ain’t need it; you ain’t need it.” However, he subsequently played a card down.

The third video reveals Mayweather Jr. and friends kicking off a fresh game. The friend, who sat across the table, handed over the cards evenly. The former five-division champion quickly settled, arranging the cards on his palm. In the fourth clip, fans can see Mayweather Jr. moving across a dollar bill toward his friend’s side.

The fifth slide had the boxing champion’s resplendent red Gucci bag on the adjacent seat. Mayweather Jr., in the meantime, appeared to be perusing his smartphone. In the final slide, he is shown looking outside, lost in thought.
