“Floyd Mayweather’s Boxing Lesson for Haney: Legend Critiques Tactics After Garcia Loss!”

In the aftermath of Ryan Garcia’s stunning victory over Devin Haney, a new drama has emerged in the boxing world, with Floyd Mayweather at the center of it all. Accusations flew as Haney and his father Bill Haney pointed fingers at Mayweather, alleging that he leaked a sparring video to Garcia, giving him an unfair advantage. However, Mayweather has stepped forward to set the record straight and offer his perspective on the situation.

The Dream’ furiously took to X and called Floyd Mayweather a “bonafide hater” in public. For the same reason, he believed Floyd Mayweather deliberately leaked his and Davis’ sparring to give Garcia an unprecedented advantage over ‘The Dream’. “I know he sent Ryan the sparring,” Haney wrote.

In a recent interview with FightHype, Mayweather addressed the allegations head-on, vehemently denying any involvement in leaking Haney’s sparring footage. He expressed his disappointment at being labeled a “bonafide hater” by Haney, emphasizing his longstanding admiration for the young boxer. Mayweather reiterated his support for Haney while also advising him to reconsider his coaching setup for future fights.

“I will always talk good about Devin. Devin is young so I expect him to say, ‘Floyd you’re hating on me.’ No, Devin, I always loved you and always wanted the best for you,” Floyd Mayweather told FightHype.

“If I don’t f*** with you, I’m not showing you different moves in the gym. I guess he thought I sent the sparring video to Ryan Garcia. Did he get it from me? Absolutely not,” Mayweather added.

“In the future, when he fights, I’m not saying remove your dad. But, you’re going to have somebody that knows something about boxing right there with you to tell you how to handle that crunch moment,” said Mayweather.

“Keep your dad, but, you got to have somebody who’s been in that crunch moment,” he added, Mayweather added, “Just for starters Devin, you can’t jab like this. That’s amateur.”

Mayweather’s comments shed light on the complexities of the relationship between mentor and mentee in the boxing world. He emphasized the importance of having experienced guidance in high-pressure situations, suggesting that Haney may benefit from additional coaching support moving forward.

Furthermore, Mayweather offered a critical analysis of Haney’s performance against Garcia, pinpointing tactical errors and areas for improvement. He emphasized the need for Haney to refine his technique and strategy, particularly in moments of intense pressure.

As the boxing community awaits Haney’s response to Mayweather’s statements, one thing is clear: the drama surrounding Garcia’s victory continues to captivate fans and pundits alike. Whether Haney will heed Mayweather’s advice and make the necessary adjustments remains to be seen, but one thing is for certain – the fallout from this controversy is far from over.
