Devin Haney Debunks Fake News About Him on Social Media
Devin Haney is on a mission for redemption after Ryan Garcia tested positive for ostarine during their fight in April. Though his loss was converted to a no-contest, rumors recently emerged suggesting ‘The Dream’ now wants all footage of his fight against Garcia removed from YouTube. Haney has swiftly addressed these rumors.
Haney previously sued Ryan Garcia for damaging his image by defeating him while on banned substances, which resulted in a low purse bid for his WBC mandatory fight against Sandor Martin. Haney has since been stripped of the title for not facing his mandatory. Nevertheless, when these new allegations surfaced, ‘The Dream’ was quick to defend himself.
Devin Haney: Denial Tour
Yesterday, a user on X asked Haney about the recent allegations that he requested DAZN to remove the Ryan Garcia fight clips from YouTube. When DAZN refused, Haney allegedly approached YouTube directly. Haney quickly responded to the fan, writing, “U don’t really believe some s**t like this right.”

Interestingly, it was Ryan Garcia who initially accused Haney of trying to persuade DAZN to remove the fight clips. He wrote in an Instagram post, “Wow thank you DAZN for not allowing that to happen.” Haney responded, “This is cap..”

Many speculate that if true, Haney could be trying to erase every evidence of the fight from the internet to get his loss erased and clean his image after the pummeling he received from Garcia. However, there is nothing linking Haney to the removal request as of now, leaving these as mere allegations. Meanwhile, Ryan Garcia seems to have given his final verdict on a Devin Haney rematch.

Ryan Garcia Quotes Ivan Drago
After the majority decision win for Ryan Garcia was turned into a no-contest, Devin Haney sued Garcia for damaging his image by cheating. Haney also claimed that the ordeal had affected him mentally as well as financially. Ryan Garcia took it upon himself to respond to these claims.
In a post on X a few days ago, the Victorville native wrote, “I gave him [Haney] brain damage, if there is a rematch mark my words you’d actually die in the ring. Not saying I want that to happen. But like the Russian in Rocky 4 said ‘If he dies, he dies’.” Garcia also claimed he would rather face Gervonta Davis in a rematch than Devin Haney.

Despite getting his sole loss erased from the books, Devin Haney can’t seem to catch a break. As things are, his loss to Ryan Garcia will stick with him for a long time. Do you think Haney tried to get the clips of his fight against Garcia removed? Let us know in the comments.
