“Devin Haney vs. Shakur Stevenson: War of Words Escalates Over Alleged Fight Offer!”

In the high-stakes world of boxing, rivalries ignite both inside and outside the ring, and the latest feud between Shakur Stevenson and Devin Haney is no exception. As Haney gears up for his upcoming showdown against Ryan Garcia, revelations about a fight that never materialized have resurfaced, shedding light on the contentious relationship between the two fighters.

The saga began last year when Haney emerged victorious in a closely contested battle against Vasyl Lomachenko, solidifying his status as a formidable champion. Following his triumph, Stevenson, hungry for a shot at glory, challenged Haney for all his titles, igniting a war of words between the two pugilists.

Haney said, “Shakur can’t f**k with me. We offered Shakur a fight… All this s**t was real money. He would have made more money than he made in all his fights combined…”

During a recent appearance on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, Haney made headlines by claiming that he had offered Stevenson a lucrative deal for the fight, one that would have dwarfed the earnings from all of Stevenson’s previous bouts combined. However, Stevenson wasted no time in disputing Haney’s assertions, labeling him the “funniest liar” in a scathing tweet that quickly went viral.

Stevenson wrote, “Cuz gotta be the funniest liar I ever seen. Somebody gives my ni** an Oscar, pls. He deserves it.”

Stevenson’s response sent shockwaves through the boxing community, prompting speculation about the veracity of Haney’s claims and reigniting the long-standing rivalry between the two fighters. With tensions running high, fans eagerly await further developments in this captivating feud.

Haney Sr. said in a post, “It’s not that I would never entertain a fight between him and Devin, that’s completely false, completely untrue. What I will never do is think that Shakur Stevenson’s word in business means anything when he’s talking to me… Buddy, he ain’t fought nobody. He hasn’t fought anybody that we’re not going to beat.”

In a social media post, Haney Sr. sparked controversy by addressing a potential matchup between Devin Haney and Shakur Stevenson. Dismissing claims of refusal, he clarified willingness to consider the bout. However, he emphasized skepticism regarding Stevenson’s credibility, asserting his lack of formidable opponents. “It’s not that I would never entertain a fight between him and Devin, that’s completely false,” he stated. “What I will never do is think that Shakur Stevenson’s word in business means anything when he’s talking to me… Buddy, he ain’t fought nobody.
