“Canelo vs. Munguia: De La Hoya’s Verdict – ‘Boring Presser, Explosive Fight!'”

The tension between Canelo Alvarez and Oscar De La Hoya, once again, erupted into a fiery exchange as the countdown to their highly anticipated showdown continues. Following a lackluster press conference for the Alvarez vs. Jaime Munguia fight, De La Hoya couldn’t resist taking a swipe at his former protégé, deriding the event as “boring like Canelo’s fights.”

Despite the professional façade at the press conference, where both fighters maintained a respectful demeanor, De La Hoya seized the opportunity to unleash a verbal onslaught on Alvarez’s fighting style. In a scathing tweet, he teased, “Yesterday’s press conference was so boring like Canelo’s fights. Wait till I unleash,” hinting at impending fireworks.

De La Hoya’s dig at Alvarez’s fighting style adds fuel to the already blazing anticipation surrounding the upcoming bout. With tensions simmering between the two camps, fans eagerly await the clash between Alvarez and Munguia, fueled by the underlying animosity between Alvarez and his former promoter.

De La Hoya said, “It’s been a while since canelo fought Julio Cesar Chavez. But, this is different.”

“We have Munguia who’s [the] next world champion, who’s undefeated, young, strong, and hungry,” he added. However, after the press conference, De La Hoya took to X and wrote, “Yesterday’s press conference was so boring like Canelo’s fights. Wait till I unleash.”

Meanwhile, Alvarez brushed off De La Hoya’s remarks, emphasizing his respect for Munguia and expressing confidence in the impending showdown. In a bold assertion, Alvarez proclaimed his preference for respectful opponents, indicating his belief that Munguia is not one to shy away from a challenge.

As the verbal jabs fly and tensions mount, the stage is set for an explosive showdown between Alvarez and Munguia. With emotions running high and pride on the line, fans can expect nothing short of a thrilling spectacle when these two warriors step into the ring.

“I always respect more the fighter [who] be respectful because it’s when you realize you gonna have a good fight,” said Canelo Alvarez. “Because the fighter who talk a lot things, they come into the fight scared,” he added.

Despite Oscar De La Hoya’s verbal jabs, Canelo Alvarez remains unfazed, underscoring his respect for opponent Jaime Munguia. Alvarez confidently asserts his preference for respectful adversaries, lauding Munguia’s readiness for the impending battle. With tensions escalating and emotions running high, anticipation builds for the explosive showdown between Alvarez and Munguia. As pride hangs in the balance, fans brace themselves for a thrilling spectacle in the ring, eagerly awaiting the clash of these two warriors.

“So, I like this kind of fight because I know it’s going to be a great fight,” he concluded confidently.
