In an unexpected turn of events, Tom Aspinall, the undisputed heavyweight champion, crossed paths with interim heavyweight champ Jon Jones in Birmingham, UK. Aspinall was taken aback by Jones’ stature, admitting that the legendary fighter was not as imposing in person as he had imagined. However, Aspinall remained unfazed, expressing unwavering confidence in his ability to conquer Jones in the octagon.

Meanwhile, Francis Ngannou, fresh from his boxing debut against Tyson Fury, hinted at his future in the sweet science. Despite facing a setback against Anthony Joshua, Ngannou remains undeterred, stating that boxing still owes him a shot at redemption. With his sights set on a potential third boxing match, Ngannou’s determination shines through as he seeks to make his mark in the ring.

However, the spotlight also shines on Bryan Battle, whose recent bout at UFC Vegas 88 ended in controversy. A heated altercation ensued after Battle inadvertently thumbed his opponent Ange Loosa in the eye, resulting in a no-contest ruling.
