Shakur Stevenson and George Kambosos Jr. Engage in Fiery Online Feud Over $100,000 Bet

The world of boxing has erupted in a storm of controversy and drama as Shakur Stevenson and George Kambosos Jr. clash in a heated online spat, ignited by a seemingly innocent fan question. The feud, fueled by a $100,000 bet and personal barbs, has brought to light past controversies and set the stage for an explosive future showdown.

The Fan Question That Sparked the Storm

It all began with a casual fan inquiry on X (formerly Twitter) about a hypothetical matchup between Stevenson’s recent opponent Artem Harutyunyan and George Kambosos Jr., who is coming off a defeat against Vasyl Lomachenko in May. What started as a light-hearted discussion quickly spiraled into a fiery exchange.

Shakur Stevenson, the WBC lightweight champion, waded into the debate with a bold statement: “I’ll bet 100k on Artem.” This seemingly innocuous comment triggered a fierce response from Kambosos Jr., who accused Stevenson of using Harutyunyan to draw attention to himself. Kambosos didn’t hold back, branding Stevenson as an attention-seeker and questioning his capabilities against top fighters like Lomachenko, Teofimo Lopez, and Devin Haney.

Stevenson quickly answered back, “Bro u let Maxi Hughes beat u.” It’s worth mentioning that Kambosos defeated Maxi Hughes via majority decision last year. Regardless, Stevenson continued his attack, claiming, “I also picked Loma to stop u.. U are DOG S**T!!!! U are the worst undisputed of all time u are a** cheeks u should quit boxing.”

The Feud Escalates: Personal Attacks and Controversial Clips

Stevenson didn’t take kindly to Kambosos’ remarks. His retort was swift and cutting: “Bro u let Maxi Hughes beat u 😭😭😭😭 I also picked Loma to stop u.. U are DOG S**T!!!! U are the worst undisputed of all time u are ass cheeks u should quit boxing.” The exchange escalated with Stevenson attacking Kambosos’ performance and credibility, adding fuel to an already heated situation.

In response, Kambosos Jr. upped the ante by sharing controversial videos from Stevenson’s past. He posted a clip of a physical altercation involving Stevenson in 2019, where Stevenson appeared to miss a wild punch and fall. Kambosos’ taunt, “Kung Fu Shakur, nearly knocked himself. Wax on wax off bruv learn that s**t,” added a layer of personal attack to their public feud.

Kambosos further fueled the fire with another video of Stevenson singing, which he sarcastically captioned, “Your kidding me!!! Sounds like s**t and why he getting on his knees, Fr that’s suss as. SS, Suspicious Shakur.” This clip, meant to mock Stevenson, only deepened the animosity between the two fighters.

Stevenson once again took to X, writing, “I’m in Kambosos head rent free[.] Boy bout to have a heart attack over what I said.” Kambosos was ready to take this online feud to the finish line, so he responded to this, writing, “I’ve been living rent free in your buck tooth head since I won the belts 5-1 coward haha.” Kambosos Jr. The clip Kambosos shared showed Stevenson missing a wild haymaker and falling onto the floor. Kambosos wrote, “Kung Fu Shakur, nearly knocked himself. Wax on wax off bruv learn that s**t.”
