“I Threw Up 15 Times”: Logan Paul’s Babymoon in Italy Turns Into a Nightmare

Logan Paul, the multi-faceted YouTuber turned professional wrestler and entrepreneur, is basking in the glow of impending fatherhood. The 29-year-old recently returned from a celebratory “babymoon” in Italy with his fiancée, Nina Agdal. What was meant to be a relaxing pre-baby getaway quickly turned into a harrowing experience, as Paul recounted his severe bout of alcohol-induced illness in a candid podcast appearance.

A Joyful Expectation Turns Sour

On April 15, Paul shared a joyous update on Instagram: he and Agdal are expecting a baby girl this fall. The couple, who got engaged at the picturesque Lake Como last year, posed in front of a flower garden with a baby scan. “Another Paul coming this Fall @ninaagdal,” Paul captioned the photo, radiating excitement.

To commemorate their upcoming bundle of joy, the couple embarked on a “babymoon” to Italy, flooding social media with idyllic photos. “Babymoon part 1, too much Limoncello,” Nina captioned a post, capturing the essence of their adventure. However, the celebration took a dramatic turn when Paul indulged a bit too much in the local delights.

A Night to Forget

During a recent podcast episode of BS/Jake Paul, featuring Logan, his brother Jake, and their father Greg, the topic of family struggles with alcohol surfaced. Jake, reflecting on his own past, disclosed how he battled alcoholism before boxing became his salvation. It was during this discussion that Logan revealed his own recent ordeal in Italy.

“I hadn’t drank in a while, healthy, doing my thing, and then I went to Italy on my babymoon and I started drinking,” Logan confessed. “I drank way too much and got violently hungover. Like, I threw up 15 times. It was horrible.” His face etched with regret, Logan vowed, “I’m never drinking again and I mean that. Never, never… It f**ked me up.” The brothers then toasted to their newfound sobriety, solidifying their commitment to a healthier lifestyle.

Jake Paul’s Redemption Story

Jake Paul, fresh off a victory against Mike Perry, reflected on his turbulent past. Before his meteoric rise in the boxing world, Jake grappled with alcohol and substance abuse, living a reckless life as a prominent YouTuber in Los Angeles. “I was drinking, doing drugs, doing all sorts of crazy s*** in Los Angeles, not being myself,” he admitted. “Because that’s what happens when you’re drinking like that and doing those things like that.”

Boxing, Jake revealed, became his lifeline. “I needed something to save me and boxing showed up out of nowhere.” Despite occasional relapses, Jake is steadfast in his pursuit of sobriety, crediting the sport with helping him clean up his act.

The Road to Recovery

Logan’s recent experience in Italy serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of overindulgence. The expectant father’s resolution to abstain from alcohol underscores a significant shift in his lifestyle as he prepares for parenthood. The Paul brothers’ public struggles and triumphs over addiction highlight the pervasive nature of such battles, even among the rich and famous.

“I hadn’t drank in a while, healthy, doing my thing and, then I went to Italy on my babymoon and I started drinking. I drank way too much and like got violently hung over. Like I threw up 15 times. It was horrible,” Logan Paul revealed with a hint of regret on his face.

Additionally, he vowed to never drink again in his life, stating, “I’m never drinking again and I mean that. Never, Never… It f**ked me up.” Then Logan and Jake toasted to their newfound sobriety while taking the vow.

Embracing Change

As Logan and Nina await the arrival of their baby girl, the couple’s focus has shifted towards creating a nurturing environment. Logan’s vow of sobriety is a testament to his dedication to being a present and responsible father. The Paul brothers’ journey from turbulent pasts to promising futures offers a narrative of hope and redemption, inspiring their followers to embrace positive changes.

“I was drinking, doing drugs, doing all sorts of crazy s*** in Los Angeles, not being myself. Because that’s what happens when you’re drinking like that and doing those things like that,” the former Disney star lamented. “I needed something to save me and boxing showed up out of nowhere.”

Final Thoughts

Logan Paul’s Italian escapade, while initially a joyous occasion, ended in a sobering lesson about the perils of excessive drinking. His candid admission and commitment to sobriety reflect a new chapter in his life, one marked by responsibility and self-care. As Logan prepares to welcome his daughter, his resolve to stay sober serves as a beacon of hope for those facing similar struggles.
