1. Dave Allen Confronts Fan Disrespect Over Potential Fight with Johnny Fisher

Dave Allen, known as ‘The White Rhino,’ recently voiced his frustration with fans’ reactions to a potential bout with Matchroom’s heavyweight contender, Johnny Fisher. The online discourse erupted after Fisher’s swift knockout of Alen Babic, with many doubting Allen’s chances against the rising star.

2. Allen Open to Future Fight

In a candid conversation, Allen admitted that he would currently be outmatched by Fisher, citing the need for more training and preparation. “You’d beat me right now. I need some time. Go to Australia [and fight], then come back, and we’ll do it next year,” Allen told Fisher.

3. Fisher’s Response: Anticipation and Strategy

Fisher, dubbed ‘The Romford Bull,’ welcomed the idea of a future match, highlighting the potential interest it would generate. “Next year, it would be good. I think a lot of people would buy into it. But we’d sell a lot of tickets. I think you’ve got better experience. You could slow me and try to old man me a bit. That’s what I’d have to be careful of,” Fisher responded.

4. Allen’s Determination to Improve

Allen acknowledged his current fitness levels and the need to enhance his training regimen. “I could try, but I need to get much fitter. I need to get back on it even to have half a chance. I’m going to keep working hard now. You’ve said that you look up to me, but now, I want to box you,” Allen declared, showing his commitment to getting in shape for a possible fight.

5. Social Media Reactions: Mixed Responses

The exchange between Allen and Fisher sparked a flurry of social media comments, with opinions divided. While some fans supported the idea of the matchup, others doubted Allen’s capability to compete against Fisher, referencing his past encounters with powerful heavyweights.

6. Allen’s Past Struggles with Big Punchers

Allen’s history with hard-hitting opponents like David Price, Frazer Clarke, and Luis Ortiz has not been favorable. These experiences have led some fans to question his ability to withstand Fisher’s aggression. Notably, Allen required oxygen after his bout with Price and suffered punishing defeats at the hands of Clarke and Ortiz.

7. Recent Victories and Future Plans

Despite his setbacks, Allen has shown resilience, winning a four-round bout in April and preparing for another fight against Amine Boucetta. However, these recent victories may not provide adequate preparation for a potential clash with Fisher in 2025.

8. Skepticism and Determination

Detractors have expressed skepticism about Allen’s ability to compete with the younger, more aggressive Fisher. The 32-year-old recognizes the challenge ahead and is determined to step up his game before any potential fight takes place.

9. Allen Addresses Disrespectful Comments

Reacting to the negative feedback, Allen voiced his disappointment with the disrespectful messages he received. “So many messages today I find disrespectful. All the ‘I’d get stopped in a round’ just makes me want to train so much harder,” Allen stated, showing his resolve to prove the doubters wrong.

10. Proven Track Record and Future Aspirations

Allen emphasized his experience and resilience, having sparred with world and Olympic champions for over a decade. “I’ve been a paid sparring partner for world and Olympic champions since I was 20 years old. Twelve years later, having boxed three Olympic medalists, two world title challengers, and a whole host of other top fighters, I’ve never been off my feet,” Allen explained. He remains eager for another chance to demonstrate his capabilities in the ring.
