Floyd Mayweather Refuses to Comment on Ryan Garcia’s Racist Slurs: “I Don’t Have Nothing to Do with It”

In a shocking turn of events, Ryan Garcia, the outspoken Californian boxer, has been expelled from the WBC following his disturbing remarks targeting black people and Muslims. Despite the backlash, Floyd Mayweather, known for his strategic silence outside the ring, has chosen not to weigh in on the controversy that has stirred the boxing world.

Floyd Mayweather a two-word message. “Working hard @floydmayweather,” he had written.

“You’re not going to get me involved in that. That’s not my thing,” stated Floyd Mayweather. “I’m here talking about Curmel. I want here to stay positive and talk about Curmel and what my fighters do, and me helping my promotions, family and promotions,” he began. In other words, Mayweather found Garcia’s situation immaterial to himself and his promotions.

“Something negative, I don’t have nothing to do with it,” Floyd Mayweather concluded

Garcia’s expulsion from the WBC came swiftly after his incendiary comments went viral on social media, drawing condemnation from across the sporting community. Even Garcia’s own parents and Oscar De La Hoya of Golden Boy Promotions publicly distanced themselves from his views, emphasizing the severity of his statements.

Floyd Mayweather said, “I’m putting on a show.” “That was unbelievable. I think the last [time] we went out there, we performed, we had the ball. I feel like people enjoyed it, everyone enjoyed it,”

When questioned by FightHype about Garcia’s expulsion and the derogatory language he used, Mayweather remained steadfast in his silence. “You’re not going to get me involved in that. That’s not my thing,” Mayweather remarked with a stoic demeanor. “I’m here to talk about Curmel [Moton] and what my fighters are doing, focusing on positivity,” he added, redirecting the conversation to his protege’s recent victory at the Honda Center.

This refusal to engage in controversy isn’t new for Mayweather, who has often prioritized his own promotions and the success of his fighters over public disputes. His dedication to maintaining a positive narrative around his career and ventures is well-documented, underscoring his selective approach to media engagements.

This approach blends factual reporting with a distinctive narrative style, offering a comprehensive view while maintaining the journalistic integrity and emotional engagement you seek.
