Coach Greg Doucette Slams Ryan Garcia Amid Defamation Lawsuit from Logan Paul’s Prime Hydration: “Acting Like a 15-Year-Old”

In a scathing critique, IFBB Pro coach Greg Doucette has laid into Ryan Garcia, who is currently embroiled in a defamation lawsuit filed by Logan Paul’s Prime Hydration. Garcia, already in the spotlight for a failed drug test, finds himself under intense scrutiny once again.

A Harsh Public Rebuke

In a YouTube video provocatively titled “My Apology To Ryan Garcia,” Doucette was anything but apologetic. He drew harsh comparisons between Garcia’s behavior and that of “a 15-year-old coming from a broken family where parents didn’t give a s**t about teaching the kid how to talk.” Doucette’s condemnation didn’t stop there; he expressed frustration over Garcia’s attempts to clear his name, particularly after Garcia’s B sample confirmed the initial positive drug test.

“a 15-year-old coming from a broken family where parents didn’t give a s**t about teaching the kid how to talk.”

Doucette’s Relentless Critique

Doucette, a prominent figure in bodybuilding, dismissed Garcia’s excuses regarding the trace amounts of banned substances found in his system. Garcia’s claim that Ostarine was in his declared supplements did not hold water with Doucette, who found Garcia’s mention of Prime consumption sarcastic and insincere. The coach underscored the gravity of any banned substances in an athlete’s system, stressing that even minute quantities should not be taken lightly.

Garcia said, “I just want to say I’m sorry. I feel bad about our fight because I’ve known your family for years. This situation is breaking my heart. I don’t want to fight anymore. I don’t have a problem with PRIME; I had a problem with you. I’ll drink this right now.” While sipping the energy drink, he said, ” It’s actually great. I love you, bro. I’m done with this fighting.”

The Defamation Lawsuit

Logan Paul’s defamation lawsuit against Garcia adds another layer of complexity to the boxer’s troubles. Paul’s Prime Hydration filed a $1 million defamation and libel suit against Garcia in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. This move came after Garcia’s repeated assertions that Prime was “poison,” an accusation that persisted even after his B samples tested negative for other substances.

Garcia’s Public Apology

Despite the legal turmoil, Garcia issued a public apology to Logan Paul. On May 23, 2023, Paul announced the lawsuit on social media, sharing his frustration over Garcia’s continuous attacks on Prime Hydration. Garcia attempted to make amends during a recent interview, saying, “I just want to say I’m sorry. I feel bad about our fight because I’ve known your family for years. This situation is breaking my heart. I don’t want to fight anymore. I don’t have a problem with Prime; I had a problem with you. I’ll drink this right now.” While sipping the energy drink, Garcia added, “It’s actually great. I love you, bro. I’m done with this fighting.”

Doucette’s Call for Accountability

Despite Garcia’s public apology, Greg Doucette remains unimpressed. He continued to question Garcia’s integrity, suggesting that the boxer’s actions deserved consequences, including stripping him of his recent win. Doucette drew parallels with past athletes, emphasizing the need for accountability regardless of public image or popularity. He also criticized Garcia’s lack of responsibility and defiance, suggesting that his claims about performance enhancers were dubious.

The Prime Hydration Controversy

Garcia’s issues with Prime Hydration extend beyond the lawsuit. The controversy has attracted widespread attention, especially given the involvement of high-profile figures like Logan Paul and KSI, the co-founder of Prime. KSI has also called out Garcia for his statements, further fueling the public debate.

 The Damage Continues

The ongoing saga with Logan Paul’s Prime Hydration and the failed drug test have severely dented Ryan Garcia’s reputation. Greg Doucette’s harsh words only add to the mounting criticism Garcia faces. Despite his public apologies, Garcia’s perceived lack of accountability continues to cast a shadow over his career. As the legal battles and public feuds rage on, it remains to be seen how Garcia will navigate these turbulent waters.

Editor’s Insight

This situation highlights the intense scrutiny athletes face, especially in the age of social media. Garcia’s case underscores the importance of accountability and the far-reaching consequences of public statements and actions. As the drama unfolds, it serves as a cautionary tale for athletes about the importance of integrity and the potential fallout from controversies.

These headlines are designed to draw readers in with the promise of drama and resolution, capturing the emotional and high-stakes nature of the ongoing conflict.
