Tyson Fury’s “No Time to Waste” Banter With Wife Sparks Controversy Among Fans
In the tumultuous world of boxing, every move, every word is scrutinized under the unforgiving spotlight of public opinion. Tyson Fury, the larger-than-life WBC champion, found himself at the center of controversy once again after a recent social media video rubbed fans the wrong way. With his upcoming fight against Oleksandr Usyk postponed due to injury, Fury’s attempt to showcase his busy schedule back home didn’t quite land as he might have hoped.
In the midst of preparations for his historic showdown with Usyk, Fury returned to Morecambe to spend time with his family before diving into training camp. However, a seemingly innocuous video shared on his Instagram ignited a firestorm of criticism from fans.
His Netflix show, “At Home with the Furys,”
“What are you doing?” To which the Lancashire-based fighter responded, “I got no time to waste Paris. I’m in quite a rush. Business to attend. Laters!” He then drove away.
The clip, featuring Fury waiting in his Lamborghini Urus while his wife Paris approached, seemed harmless at first glance. But when Tyson quipped, “I got no time to waste Paris. I’m in quite a rush. Business to attend. Laters!” before driving off, fans were left scratching their heads.
He remarked, “No time to waste very busy day.”

He remarked, “Ain’t no Conor McGregor here, ain’t no Floyd Mayweather here! Ain’t none of them bums here, I’m the GK [Gypsy King]! King of the chavs, we drive Passats!”

Was Fury hinting at a new business venture or negotiating another fight? The ambiguity of his statement only fueled speculation among fans, who took to social media to voice their opinions.
While some fans found the banter between Tyson and Paris endearing, others were less impressed. One fan criticized Fury’s attempt to showcase his car and busy schedule as “corny,” while another sarcastically referenced Fury’s previous claim about driving a Passat, questioning the authenticity of his busy day.
But perhaps the most biting criticism came from fans questioning Fury’s dedication to his craft. With the heavyweight division becoming increasingly competitive, especially with Anthony Joshua’s recent victory over Francis Ngannou, fans expressed concerns about Fury’s commitment to training, particularly in light of his injury and subsequent postponement of the Usyk fight.
Amidst the sea of criticism, however, there remained a staunch contingent of Fury loyalists who stood by their champion through thick and thin. Despite the backlash, Fury’s undeniable charisma and talent continue to captivate audiences around the world.
