“Boxing Drama Unfolds: Ryan Garcia Takes Aim at Errol Spence Jr. in Legal and Ring Battle”

The world of boxing is no stranger to conflicts, but the feud between Errol Spence Jr. and his former coach Derrick James has escalated into a legal battle that now has the attention of the entire boxing community. Fresh off his monumental victory over Devin Haney, Ryan Garcia has thrown his hat into the ring, vowing to take down Spence Jr. in a bid to seek justice for his coach.

Spence Jr. and James had enjoyed a fruitful partnership since the 2012 summer Olympics, but their relationship soured after Spence’s loss to Terence Crawford last year. Amidst allegations of breach of contract, fraud, and misrepresentation, James filed a lawsuit against Spence, seeking $5 million in compensation for unpaid fees.

For Garcia, who began working with James just last year, the dispute hits close to home. In a recent conversation on X Space, Garcia expressed his desire to fight Spence Jr. before taking on Gervonta Davis, citing his intention to avenge his coach’s honor. This declaration comes after Garcia’s previous scathing remarks about Spence Jr., where he accused the former welterweight champion of failing to pay his coach what he owes.

Garcia said, “I wanna fight Spence first and then take out Tank.” Boxing n BBQ shared the clip of the conversation with the caption reading, “Ryan says he wants Errol Spence first to avenge his coach Derrick James. Ryan is not happy that [Spence] didn’t pay [James] ‘5 million’ that he owes him.”

Garcia said, “F*** Errol! Yeah, f*** Errol. You ain’t with Derrick James, you mother****. You folded, you didn’t want to pay him some money.”

The legal battle between James and Spence Jr. hinges on allegations that the boxer failed to provide his coach with a fair share of earnings from his fights, particularly the lucrative showdown against Crawford. James alleges that Spence Jr. only paid him a fraction of what he was owed, leading to the lawsuit seeking rightful compensation.

“That’s f****d up. It’s all business, but still, at the end of the day, that’s some f****d s*** up. Hell, I pay him more on a fight I made less. Come on. He’s been with you your whole career. What the f*** is wrong with you,” Garcia added.

As Garcia rides the wave of his recent triumph and sets his sights on Spence Jr., the boxing world braces for a showdown both inside and outside the ring. With tensions running high and emotions flaring, the stage is set for a battle not just for victory, but for justice and honor.
