Saul Canelo Alvarez has been boxing since he was a teenager, and now the award-winning star has revealed who his favorite boxer of all time is.

Alvarez, 33, is not only a multi-weight world champion but is considered one of the best boxers of his time. He showed his love for the sport by preaching to his fans around the world “no boxing, no life”.
In
his 20-year career, Alvarez has watched many top athletes take the world stage and fought many of them, from Floyd Mayweather to Dmitry Bivol.

The only two men to defeat Canelo, who have fought current names such as Callum Smith, Billy Joe Saunders, Danny Jacobs and John Ryder Characters have fought and lost. Of course, he also has a third fight with Kazakhstani middleweight Gennady Golovkin, which some say is one of the best close fights in recent years.
In

“My
favorite boxer is Muhammad Ali.”

Meanwhile, Canelo himself is preparing for his next fight on the pre-Cinco de Mayo event. He is currently the super middleweight world champion, holding four gold belts IBF, WBC, WBO and WBA.
He
will defend the title against fellow Mexican Jaime Munguia on May 4 in Las Vegas. He knocks him down and stops him, and Canelo just takes the points.
