I had too many belts, but I have one more! Last night, the boxers from the much-talked-about match between Matchroom and Queensbury were introduced to the public live from London. But that’s not all people learned from the June 1 combat press conference. As it turned out, a new belt was also introduced that was indisputable, and people’s mood was anything but happy.

If there’s one thing fans liked about him, it was the fact that the belt was presented to him by the legendary Roberto Duran. Duran, 72, attended the event after last month’s health crisis. At the time, Duran’s family announced that he was “suffering from health complications due to atrioventricular obstruction.” more!

A few days later, Duran’s family reassured everyone by announcing that he needed a pacemaker and that he would undergo surgery. “Please rest assured that he is undergoing surgery and will be discharged from the hospital within two days,” said Felicidad Iglesias, Duran’s wife.
Nevertheless,
Boxing Enthusiast published a clip of Monday’s press conference, but his presence on stage did not soften the harsh reaction from fans to his tweets about the new belt.
Comparisons
plague the comments section

5 people vs. Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren’s fifth event has excited many fans since it was announced. However, all the hype surrounding this match seems to have been overshadowed by the new belt. The first user said the new red and black belt looks like his WWE one.

Forget about comparing with previous users. The legend compared the new belt to his belt with the UFC’s “Baddest Motherf****r” title. Users suggested that the UFC belt was bad, but the undisputed new belt takes things to a whole new level. Meanwhile, the next user didn’t want to waste his disdain for the new belt on too many words, so he simply called it “ugly.”
The
next user speculated that the organizers didn’t have enough money to hire a good designer because they spent all their money promoting the fight.
Someone
else came up with another comparison, but this would be more harmful to the designer than anything else. Fans seem to think the belt resembles the one from the children’s TV show “Power Rangers.”

People may not like this belt, but Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will have to. Because by the end of the undisputed heavyweight duel on May 18th, one of us will be wearing the belt around our waists!
