Forget the doubters. At 57, Mike Tyson is proving that ‘Iron’ Mike isn’t just a nickname; it’s a state of mind. Recent social media posts have fans buzzing, showcasing a glimpse of Tyson’s fiery training sessions for his fight against Jake Paul. These aren’t your grandpa’s retirement workout videos. Undoubtedly, Tyson still holds the same power in his punches. Even a famous comedian shares the same sentiment.

In the daily workout videos, Mike Tyson’s ferocity is on full display, a potent reminder of the power that once dominated the heavyweight division. However, commending the power of ‘Iron’ Mike, Aries Spears showed skepticism about his endurance. Will he be able to endure the youth of Jake Paul for a sufficient time before he can inflict punishment on his opponent? The comedian asks valid questions.

Mike Tyson still has the power, but…

During a conversation with Vlad TV, Aries Spears expressed his views on the upcoming showdown between one of the best heavyweight boxers of his generation and a rising Youtuber-turned-boxer. Spears has huge respect for Mike Tyson and stated that he wanted him to win against Paul. But at the same time, his pragmatic outlook had him a bit scared about Tyson’s endurance.

Spears put forth the doubt that’s concerning him. Spears said,

“Mike still got the power, and he still has the speed. My question is does he have the endurance?”

He then alluded to his favorite movie ‘Bloodsport,’ emphasizing that while it’s impressive to see Mike Tyson doing all his training well on Instagram, things will be different on fight night.

He stated,

“And listen everybody’s going ‘Jake Paul is a YouTuber, Mike gonna whoop his a** blah blah blah’. I want to see Jake Paul get his a** whooped too, but here’s the thing when Jake Paul first started, he was a little sloppy and he wasn’t as well put together.”

He continued,

“As he is now, with his body, his posture, his technique, so my biggest fear is that Mike doesn’t have the endurance.”

Aries Spears believes that, despite his power, Mike Tyson’s age would hamper his ability to catch up to a young Paul. However, Tyson’s trainer believes that one punch is what it’d take Paul to realize his mistake in taking up the fight.

Coach Rafael Cordeiro expects Jake Paul to “panic”

Veteran MMA coach Rafael Cordeiro isn’t mincing words about Jake Paul’s upcoming fight with Mike Tyson. Cordeiro, known for his work with Muay Thai fighters at Chute Boxe and Kings MMA, believes Paul is in for a rude awakening on July 20th. Despite Paul’s respectable 9-1 record with six knockouts, Cordeiro sees a stark difference when Tyson steps into the ring.

Cordeiro said,

“Mike has such heavy hands, and it will be impossible not to touch Jake. Jake will feel Mike’s hands. There’s no other way, and that’s when we’ll have an idea of how the fight will go. It’s going to be interesting to see.”

He also believes that Paul will panic the moment he is hit. He stated,

“Panic — he will panic. That’s the goal. Our goal is to keep Jake in panic the entire fight. Or for as long as he can take it.”

So, fans might get to witness Mike Tyson’s power in his upcoming match. Hopefully, Jake Paul comes prepared with a game plan, otherwise ‘The Problem Child’ might be in for a long night. What are your thoughts about this? Tell us in the comments section.
